are these any good? Always liked the look of them and its only down the road from me.

How would it compare to my NADC320BEE?

Can't tell from the descriotion if it's a Mk. I or a Mk. II model. Fellow AoS member André, is the best person here to comment. (I believe he has a few of them!)

Probably better made than your NAD and it's British, but it will have the late '60s, early '70s sound to it.

Ah yes, the sound of 2N3055s in a quasi-complimentary pair being pushed rather beyond their power bandwidth.

Apparently these are "Wolfdales" and they sound "Orsom"!

Rare and reputedly very good Supex SM-100 Mk.III, MM cartridge. I've had the MCs, but not tried one of these.

Very rare Videoton Saphir 1 speakers. Same tweeter as the Minimax, but an 8" bass/mid unit instead. These look in nice condition.

I've had a Supex MM but not that one. I thought it was lovely. One of the best MMs I've ever heard. Can't remember the model, but it was slimmer than this one. They usually fetch high prices now.
