Also, I notice at least one of the HF2000's is missing its mesh cover IIRC DJSR reckons they can be purchased from Sterling broadcast [I think that's right anyway ]

My recent Tannoy re-foam was done using ''Aleene's original Tacky Glue" by the way Martin. It's good stuff. If you'd prefer a contact adhesive, let me know. I have several spare tubes of something very suitable.

Hmm I always use "Anitas original tacky glue" ...Sisters maybe ?

Here's a project for anybody wanting a cheap pair of compact Tannoys:

These use the same drivers as the System 600, but they sound awful in these plastic i6 cabinets. Bung the drivers and crossovers in decent bigger cabinets and you have a very good speaker on the cheap! I've done it.

I've seen that before - it's been exposed to fumes. Possibly the wrong glue.
