I like these a lot, they just sounded right.

I've had about four pairs and they are very musical. That eBay listing is a bit pricey, you could pick up a pair for £50 to £60.

Gone are the boot sale £10 pairs, unless you're very lucky.

Are they reasonably easy to drive?

Yes very easy to drive, they are a simple speaker design. They were called the Ditton 15 because of the 15 watt quoted power handling. But I have actually used them to pretty high levels with a 200 watt amp, so they are pretty resilient. Sensitivity is good too, over 90db at a guess.

I have a pair of Ditton 15 crossovers (and tweeters) in front of me right now (see thumbnail).

There really isn't much to them. Inductor to roll the bass off and 12db section to bring the tweeter in.
