    Isn't it just that someone has made an offer on something he had and he agreed to put up for a buyitnow just for them?

    For that asking price your still getting a very good turntable.

    The wooden surrounds are getting more rare.

    No, that was the R50 (= Hi-Fi Answers transmission line project).

    I recall my next door neighbour owning Mordaunt Short speakers approx 10 years ago. They looked very similar to the ones above, but maybe bigger. I can remember them sounding pretty good at the time.
