    I'm John.

    Default Festival Wanted

Lots of live music booked already for this year (but one big gap) tickets so far for:

    Dale Watson
    Richard Thompson
    SXSW (10 days!)
    Eels
    Simple Minds
    The Specials
    Bonnie Raitt
    Neil Young
    Bruce Springsteen
    Paul Weller

......but for the first time since 1999 NO GLASTONBURY
Also HOP FARM has been cancelled.

Any suggestion for UK FESTIVALS to fill the gap?

    Cheers
    John

Just booked my tickets for the Transatlantic Sessions at the Sage Gateshead on 4th Feb. This will be the fourth year I've seen this show and it gets better every time. If anyAoS members are going I'll be happy to meet yours at the bar pre gig.
One of these days... I'm going to cut you into little pieces.

    Also got tickets for:

    Fairport Convention
    Ghost
    The Defiled
    Everclear
    Alt-J
    High On Fire
    Space
    Deftones
    Katriona Gilmore & Jamie Roberts

I'll be pretty much definitely going to Cropredy too unless the lineup is mind bogglingly awful which I doubt.

I think that Cropredy might be my replacement for Glastonbury and Hop-Farm this year.

Just picked up a load of tickets for gigs coming to the Sage Gateshead for the next few months, these include

    25th Feb - Fairport Convention
    3rd March - Richard Thompson
7th April - Ruby Turner and the Brand New Heavies (part of Gateshead Jazz Festival)
    18th April - Lau
    15th May - Steve Hackett

Combined with the fabulous Transatlantic sessions and a couple of tickets for Cropredy when they are released 2013 is shaping up to be a good year.
One of these days... I'm going to cut you into little pieces.

Good stuff, I'm going to see both of those, in Tewkesbury and Birmingham respectively

Nice haul there Richard, I'm going to the London Transatlantic Sessions and can't wait, some of my favourite artists are playing with Jerry Douglas this time round
