    Islington? $*(^*(&)!

Could it be any harder for us to get to? Ah well, I've bought 2 tickets. I sense a mini-AoS meetette for a drinky beforehand coming on

    You coming too, Alex?

Andr'e, I sympathise. My biggest ever regret concert-wise is never seeing ELP live.

There is a Wetherspoons across the road, but the Hen & Chicken is a more traditional London pub just a bit further away on the roundabout, or the Hope & Anchor, both better than JD W's but can get crowded on gig nights. There is a nice Thai restaurant on Upper Street too, but there's plenty to choose from.

I normally park in Kew Martin and get the Overground, but you can park nearby in the side streets, which I tend to do at the weekends. Parking at Kew is great for the M3 and saves driving through London. It is a pain location wise, but the venue is great, good sound and a very intimate atmosphere (but hard pews to sit on with no padding!). Some people take these: Church Kneeler Pew Prayer Cushion

Not sure from your end though Alex, probably easiest to park in Islington unless you know a place to go?

If you guys know all this already, then just ignore me

I've just checked Kew out and it looks good for parking and the train. Our alternative is to take the train from Wokingham to Clapham Junction and then take the other branch of the Overground.

Great news, chaps, and I'm sure we'll co-ordinate our meeting beforehand for a meal and/or a drink.

Excellent! Should be a great night - will definitely arrange a meetup beforehand methinks.

Matracas new album 'Love's Truck Stop' is a corker (if you like that sort of thing!) and this promises to be a fantastic tour from the 48 yr old Nashville singer/songwriter.
