    I believed that golds had grey chassis, think mine did, but it's a long time ago. My 12" HPD's have gold chassis.

    Very high quality vintage Yamaha CR-800 receiver, second only to the CR-1000 at the time. Nice bit of kit. In Birmingham, less than two days left to bid and only up to £12 currently.

    Always like the look of Yamaha's of that vintage. Wanted the one that was switchable for class A / class AB output.

    That was the CA-1000 integrated amplifier I believe.

    Sweet sounding CD player. Meridian 206, makes a good transport too. Not the last word in detail, but very musical.
