Cables & Sundries: Mark Grant HDX1 interconnects and digital coaxial cable, plus Mark Grant 6mm UP-LCOFC Van Damme speaker cable. MCRU 'Ultimate' mains leads. Lehmann clone headphone amp with vintage Koss PRO-4AAA headphones.
Tube Distinctions digital noise filter. VPI HW16.5 record cleaning machine.
Speakers: Tannoy 15MGs in Lockwood cabinets with modified crossovers. 1967 Celestion Ditton 15.

New Sockets look nice quility, its a bit of a bugbear the sockets on these old amps are always corroded and give problems not only with bad connections but also they are so close together you have be selective with your interconnects as bigs plugs they don't do

Yes,
they're more than likely going to cost a couple of hundred to sort the PM6 drivers and unless you do the cabinet work yourself you can double that and then all you end up with is a pair of Acoustas at £900.
An expensive way to buy a horrible sounding pair of speakers (sorry Lowther fans, I've had two pairs and thought they were not nice at all).

Best your gonna get in this situation.. with old amps the phono skt centres are more 5/8'' you need slim Plugs.. not like today's sizing of approx 3/4'' centres..
Aye but don't beat the Ferro '60/60' that sold for over a grand a while back
