Consett, eh. . . Never thought I'd find someone local on here.
Kenwood speakers. . . Think you might be better off with one of their mixers. And more practical I think, at least, for the occassional homemade fairy cake. And hands up, who amongst us, in all honesty, hand on heart, hasn't at some point in their lives, harboured the desire, even if perhaps somewhat ashamed to acknowledge the fact, wanted to bake their very own fairy cake. Feel myself slipping into Ross Noble mode here.
What about buying them, and if you're on the small side, strip them and use them as a garden shed? Every man should have his own shed. Or maybe convert them into single person accommedation for the vertically challenged?
Sorry, but they do look a little on the large side. At the end of the day I suppose it's what they go for and if you think they're worth that. Don't think I'd bother. Not with my back.

Thet look typical for the american market.
Most of the speakers made for the us in the 80s were twice the size than we got in europe.
If they go cheap they maybe fun but don't think i'd bother.
