But I do suggest that you don't keep the DAC permanently on when you are using the battery. Be energy friendly.
Doesn't the BM need to be powered up 24/7 to give its best?

I don't know the BM but most kit I've seen optimized to be used with batteries don't require as much warm up to perform its best

I thought that audio equipment needed to warm up to give the best sound. I take it that this is not the case with the BM?

It is a very broad statement. Some equipment need to be warmed up, whilst others perform worse when they get too warm.

    Hi Martin

I'm seeing how many nights my 6800mAH battery will last on a single charge. I'll take it to the point that the BM drops out from its built-in protection. It should last over 30 hours or 5 nights.

Two nights of 6 hours and counting...

    Hi Martin,

Will be interesting to compare notes at the end of both our experiments.

Because I'm using a specialist lipo charger, it can tell me exactly how much charge is put back in when recharging it back up.

I suppose that the current draw is the same whether it is playing music or sitting idle?

Do you leave yours on all the time Martin?

No, as I said I'm running it for approximately 6 hours every night, at least for this experiment.
