    What makes you think the Paratrace tip isn't as good as the FG ones? Are they not as well cut and polished, is the grain alignment poor? Or are they just from a competitor? Genuine question, I'm intrigued by what method you are able to make that assessment.

    It certainly has nothing to do with them being a competitor. That would be rather pathetic.

    I guess my point was that 26,000 is just as far away as 40,000 for a pair of speakers, and I spent a fair few quid on mine - but that's the limit.

    Impossible to tell what will appreciate, it's as much down to fashions as anything else.

    So answer the question please then Dom, in what way are the FG stylus better than the Paratrace ones? It sounds a little hollow to make such a bold statement if you have no facts to back them up, you certainly have no experience of fitting the Paratrace so I'm genuinely curious how you make this assessment.
