Proton 520 Integrated Amplifier
This is an interesting one. In the early days of NAD it was Taiwanese OEM manufacturer Proton who built NAD's kit. Rumour has it that Proton's own kit was slightly better built and offered a frisson more in SQ, so this lickle amp might be worth a punt for a second system for the bedroom or conservatory. It also sports a decent, easily configurable phono stage...
That does look pretty tidy. Good luck.

I'm Alex.
I always say you can never have enough extension leadsWhen ever I want one I can never find one...
Well I was looking out for some a little while back & found some rather nice metal cased ones which I duly snaffled up yesterday evening
The seller got in touch today to say he'd posted them & he'd relisted some more, though he kind of got the shipping costs wrong & they are now more expensive to ship
These would be perfect to be fed with screened mains cable & I reckon they are just about big enough to fit some kind of mains filtering in. So if anyone fancies a decent screened mains block on the cheap (given a bit of DIY), take a look at what this guy is advertising!
Here's one, he has quite a few more listed, so check them out![]()
