The Civil Wars autumn UK tour announced.
The Civil Wars
I think quite a few folk enjoyed my album club selection of Barton Hollow by The Civil Wars, which recently won 2 Grammy awards.
Their March tour mostly sold out immediately, but they have just announced an autumn UK tour - most tickets go on sale tomorrow,
but Southampton and Cardiff and some others are on sale now.
They are an exceptional live act and a ticket won't break the bank either - highly recommended

Not a tour, but never mind, my Cropredy 2012 tickets have arrived today!
cracking lineup this year, headliners, Fairport Convention (obviously) Joan Armatrading and Squeeze, not to mention Richard Thompson, Bellowhead, Saw Doctors, Big Country etc

Try and catch Ellen and the Escapades too if you can Dan, great new band with their first LP coming out in April. An alternative folk band with a bit of pop/country going on too. I really like them
