Okay, it maybe was a self inflicted wound but I met Rupert the owner and what a great guy! Really, really knows his stuff.
Now, the real attraction - The shop is surrounded by a Micro Brewery (award winning) a load of craft shops a Cheescake Factory and small restaurant. Definately somewhere you could take the missus for a "day out"

Probe and Diverse Vinyl get the bulk of my business. I do think folk have become lazy, though, since the advent of the Internet, and so whilst great independent shops exist in their vicinity, most people are completely oblivious to them, or ignore them because they can't be arsed with the 'inconvenience' of getting there....

Diverse isn't just a mail order place - it's cracking little RECORD shop as well. The staff are always friendly in there and it's great being able to flick through records just like when I were a youngster

It's a great place, Graham, innit? We love mooching around the antique and craft shops, after I've popped in and emptied my wallet a little in Convoy!

Oh most definitely - and you can't do that sat on your backside in front of a bloody computer....

It's a good job for my bank balance that Diverse aren't in North Wales, as I'd likely be in there every week!

Never seen the actual record shop but I always visit their stand in shows and they are friendly and have great stock. Their mail order side works well, too. If they were close to me I'd be poor

Sadly Head are no more in Belfast, now having closed down.

Belfast now has only one real record shop Dragon Records as Good Vibrations closed awhile ago as well.

Buying music in NI has taken a huge hit with Head and GV going, sad days indeed
