Garrard 301 - Cleaning the Chasis!
I have a cream white 301. The condition is generally excellent but I wonder if the cream paintwork can be cleaned. So, I'm just wondering if any of you guys have any recommendations as to what can be used on the paint? I have heard that t-cut has been used with some sucsess, any ideas?

It's what is used on car paintwork, given some elbow grease it'll give an excellent shine & depending on light (sun) bleaching, restore the colour by cutting through to a lower layer

I've used t-cut on my motor but just wondered if it could be used on the 301 paintwork?

I would imagine the paint will bill cellulose based? (Pretty sure it is on the 401) - T-Cut should be fine.

T-cut is just a fine polish & I'm sure there is other stuff out there that will give a finer finish

Cif or equivalent cream cleaner will remove marks and dirt from the paint. T cut is not a polish and should give a fine finish. Then finish with a white car paint polish to enhance colour and give protective layer.
