I will be making your power supply once the custom Teflon printed circuit board (PCB) arrives. There are a number of different specification levels for the materials used to make Teflon boards. This is special order stuff from abroad and at this specification level the board material itself is only manufactured to order. The board material should be arriving at my PCB manufacturer any day now and will be processed within a week of arrival. I did warn you it would be after the Christmas/New Year holidays before I would be finishing your power supply. I know it is hard waiting for toys, as I am about to order one that will take around 8 weeks to arrive. This is just the way custom built to order is.

Has anyone tested the difference between the XL and XLR connector options in the SR7EHD? Since the XL is more expensive is this upgrade worth it?

1) Single-stage external 21V supply
2) Dual-stage external 27V and internal 21V supplies
3) Dual-stage external 27V and dual internal 21V supplies splitting motor control and motor drive (this is currently where I'm at)
4) Triple-stage external 27V, dual internal 21V and extended 9.4V & 5V supplies

This definitely offers a heightened sense of pitch stability, inner detail and resolution, fantastic dynamics and lowered noise floor. I really don't know what moving from 3) to 4) will bring, but I'll be tackling it very soon.
