I've come late to this thread but that's fantastic work, Erik. I hope it sounds as good as it looks, because it looks utterly superb.

    Hi Erik,

Amazing work, you must be very proud of your system!!

I am curious as to how you construct your cables with the rice paper and silk. Have you got any photos of how they are made?

I do a little DIY, but after seeing your pictures, I think I should retire my soldering iron.

    Cheers

    Eric,
what a treat for us to be able to admire your system. It shows what we all want from our stuff. The ultimate.
And no doubt you will be an inspiration to many fellow geniuses on this forum to push themselves even further to get the best out of their builds.
No manufacturer could do this, could they? And that's what makes it so special.

I'd have to reinforce my suspension on my van a bit to be able to house that in my home

I wholeheartedly agree A really inspirational thread that I don't think we'll ever see the likes of again, certainly not the build quality or the quantity of kit

Not a lot to add to the other comments really. I remember following the thread ardently at the time (most of the time with my jaw on the floor) astounded at the quality of 'diy' on display. It was good to look over it again.
