I thought so. looking at the picture it has the Speed change & Release/Load knobs missing but they do come up from time to time.

Are you into r-r? My old man's got a lovely Akai in mint condition, was serviced a couple of years back. he got it for his 25th wedding anniversary, that was in 1972. If you're interested i'll have a word with him next time i'm over that way

I think the caffeine and nicotine must have gone to my head this morning. I've 'accidentally' clicked (a few times) a few buttons and ended up with some pig ugly monstrosity without an arm for £110. Are they supposed to be any good them owd dj decks.

You're on the path. Now catch up on hours' worth of reading here on AoS and that 1210 will become a beautiful swan

I'm quite happy with my current tt. Just thought it might be nice to have a play. Will have to find an arm for it. Maybe something heavier than my Hadcock as I can get a Supex and step up reasonably cheaply so I could see what mc's are all about.

A heavier arm huh? There's a spare tower crane just down the road from me, you could try that? It should look right at home on a Techie plus you could always pretend it's a Dynavector
