    Sonically, they're worth probably 1/3 of that price but it's the rarity value the buyer has paid for and is unlikely to lose any money on them.

    Back in the day when they were current, we struggled to sell a couple of pairs a year up against other small monitors of that time. If only I had known the prices they fetch now though, I would have stock-piled a heap of them..
