Default Hello from more northerly Yorkshire...

    Hi All,

Glad to be here, and hopefully looking to forward being a active a member as time permits.

For those of you who don't know me (I know some do), I run a shop in the North East called HiFi Sound, and a couple of websites (probably best known is www.2ndhandhifi.co.uk) which keep me out of mischief.

We import Magneplanar loudspeakers and Audez'e headphones which are both something a little different from the norm.

My business is essentially an extension of my hobby - I collect turntables, so if anyone has a vinyl related problem I am always happy to try to help...

    Regards

    Simon

    Hi Simon,

Nice one, mate. Glad you found your way in

I first met Simon about six years ago, when he was in his old shop in Darlington (a proper old hi-fi shop!), much less posh than what he has now and his knowledge and standard of customer service was second to none.

Simon is rather like hifi dave - a 'proper' dealer, who is basically just an enthusiast like us, but with a shop! He's also very knowledgeable about turntables, particularly the LP12, and loves vintage gear.

So, guys, as I know you will, please make Simon very welcome. In time, he will become a major asset to AoS

    Marco.

Hi Simon, I hear tell in Yorkshire they have real grass and sometimes electricity?

Is it also true that the sun is shiny?

    Hi and Welcome

I think my Dual came from you twenty or more years ago, along with a bargain VDH Decca Export.....
I can't go on and I can't go back, I don't feel so matter of fact,
I tried and tried to make good sense, What's the good to try it all again?
