Thoroughly agree should be compulsory for all humans...and on that subject 'The Human Planet' promises to be even better in terms of resolution, I think it's out soon in 1080p...not sure about the 24p though Mark, my player will probably think so though

Just received it through the letterbox

1080i once again like everything else from the Beeb. 3 x BD50 discs though so must be a lot of material here Aha, 470 minutes worth! Not worried about the interlaced frames as my Panasonic does a fantastic job of de-interlacing

I'll get round to spinning it eventually

The first 4 or 5 episodes are tremendous IMHO, although the last few tail off a little in content, only in comparison to the earlier episodes however
