Bass suspension has gone but I'd be more worried about the tweeters as you're never going to be able to replace those.
Has anyone come across the big ARs (LST?) in recent times?

My Grandfather had one of these - Philips Stereo Recorder somewhere there are a load of tapes of me and my sister from nearly 40 years ago singing songs and nursery rhymes recorded on it. I remember my dad had it after granddad died, but think it got chucked when dad bought a Ferguson music centre from Rumbelows. Wouldn't have thought it was worth 40 quid though!
