Nice collection, Mark. I've a little way to go to get that complete wall-to-wall feel.

Oh they are not all CDs by the way

That left rack is full of blu rays, the one above the door holds DVDs & SVHS videos. The main racks on the right hold CDs to about 3/4 of there height & DVDs above them The CDs go down to about 1.5" above the carpet so there are quite a few...

Luckily i can get rid of the DVDs that the duplicate blu rays replace

The first Alien film looked great on standard DVD, far better than the fourth in the Quadrilogy. Are the other films better in blu-ray?

Please give a list of DVD's you're disposing of, as with the tellies we have there's absolutely no reason yet to go hi-def video
I can't go on and I can't go back, I don't feel so matter of fact,
I tried and tried to make good sense, What's the good to try it all again?

The blu rays i'm sure will be stunning

I can certainly get a list together for you Dave. Quite a few may well have been recorded from a TV broadcast onto a DVD recorder with HDD & then edited & burnt to DVD on a computer. The pictures are still top notch though & widescreen recorded from freeview..

I'm sure you'd be interested more in original films though & as it happens i haven't taken any down the local secondhand shop yet
