    Hi Guys,

    My name is Jason and I live in Australia. My interests lean toward vintage hi-fi, horn speakers and idler drive turntables in particular.
    Lately I've been doing some homework on tonearm geometry. I'm thinking I might have a go at making my own 12" arm. That's how I found you guys, reading about Speedy Steve's DIY arm!

    My system is still in development, but currently comprises;
    Lenco GL75 turntable
    Orpheus Silex turntable
    Sansui CA-3000 preamp
    Sansui TU-9900 tuner
    Altec 808-8A 1" compression drivers on Altec 511B horns
    Custom midbass front horns loaded with 15" drivers
    Custom folded and tapped horn sub enclosures
    DIY interconnects and speaker cable
    Amplification (not yet been determined)

    I've also been involved with the development of Homebuilt Hi-fi, a user submitted image gallery of homebuilt hi-fi projects.

    Hey Guys,

    Thanks for the welcome. Batty, I'm in Adelaide too.
    John, my music tastes are a little eclectic. I can listen to old blues and rockabilly, to modern jazz, to contemporary electronic recordings.
