Oh - don't worry I haven't lost it: it is filed away along with 4,000 other CDs. And I do like it.

Well with 4,000 places for it to hide, it would have been understandable. I only have about 700, stored alphabetically. If one goes back in the wrong place it can be missing for months It has happened.

Anyway, decided to go with this next. Overshadowed somewhat by Copperhead Road, but still decent.

I just dropped in, to see what condition my condition was in

T/T: Inspire Monarch, X200 tonearm, Ortofon Quintet Blue. Phono: Project Tube Box CD: Marantz CD6006 (UK Edition); Amp: Musical Fidelity A5 Integrated.
Speakers: KEF Reference 3, REL T9i subwoofer. Cables: Atlas Equator interconnects, Atlas Hyper 3.0 speaker cables

    T'other system:
Echo Dot, Arcam A75 integrated, Monitor Audio R852 MD speakers

There was a time I would have agreed but have reconsidered some of the stuff from that era since, and I think there was actually a lot of very good pop songs. A lot of dross too but that's true of any era especially the current one.

I agree. As I've been forced to go vinyl only for the foreseeable, and as about half of my records hail from the 80s, I'll be sticking with 80s albums to illustrate this point.

Starting with this: Paul Simon Graceland (1986)

Don't you have an old DVD player or something you can hook up?
