I assume you mean the house... The owner (my brother's partner) sold it for about £3m* iirc, the man who bought it had decided to retire in his 40s, and sold his 50% share in an engineering firm that made parts for oil/gas rigs I was told. Came away with almost £100m. So the house was pocket change.
He's since sold the house (I'm guessing this is the listing), I don't know how much for. Now lives just outside Keswick with great views of the lake and fells I'm told. How the other half lives eh? My mate's up there, building a giant patio area for him. I said I'd nip up and visit, not got round to it. Should do, the bloke is as likeable and down to earth as they come.
*Near Skelmersdale. If it was London I expect it would be 5 times that.
