Not bad at all, Robin - a wee bit pale and lacking in depth, but that could be down to the beans you've used, if they're a light roast. I'd play around with the grind/dosage and see what results you get.

    Cappuccino alert...

The black cup won't help the appearance.

The beans are med/dark roast, will be paying about with the grind to hopefully improve the results.

True, but that's not why Robin's got those results.

Are you happy with 100% Arabica, Kevin? I always use that as a base coffee and finish off with something African or Brazilian.

No worries. The grind makes a big difference, and also tamping pressure

And also the amount of ground coffee in the portafilter.

Only change one thing at a time.

    Yes. Very happy with it.

The blend contains Indian, Ethiopian and Brazilian beans.

Cool... Took me ages to find a blend I was 100% happy with

Another cappuccino... This one shows the colour of the coffee better:

Note how the crema sticks to the edges of the cup.

Another good tool for a consistent coffee is a pressure regulated tamper.
    This helps quite a lot.
