Cheers mate, I'm feeling fine, and I haven't heard back from the myriad tests and scans they did on me, no news is good news they say... anyway, I'm quite liking all the "no Ste, you take it easy, I'll sort it" attention I'll milk it for just a bit longer The shittest part was not being allowed to drive for a month, you don't miss it till it's taken away, but that too is behind me.
I just dropped in, to see what condition my condition was in

Defo no news is good news. If there was something major wrong, you'd have heard by now.

I hear you with the car; I'd be lost without mine, too.

Just chillax and enjoy yer choons - it's good for your headspace

ou might slip, you might slide, you might
Stumble and fall by the road side
But don't you ever let nobody drag your spirit down
Remember you're walking up to heaven

Don't let nobody turn you around
… Walk with the rich, walk with the poor
Learn from everyone, that's what life is for
And don't you let nobody drag your spirit down

Had a few droplets last night (around 10pm), but nowhere near enough to resurrect the garden.

    19°C and cloudy.

Proper wet rain now, bouncing off the drive. This kind of thing is not good after a long dry spell, it's how you get flash floods. Fortunately the ground up here has been primed by a couple of slightly rainy nights.

You're up on a hill though it's the poor beggars down in the valley who have to worry about that.

Thunderstorm warning today which pretty much guarantees we won't get one.

Yeah, I think it's the early days after a TIA where you are most at risk of a repeat or something worse, and the likelihood reduces over time. This was the reason for my short driving ban. So your lad should be fine by now.

Well that's me all over, worrying about other folk Me and Grant had griped about this in the past, we blamed increased tarmac-ing over their gardens to make more parking spaces as being one of the reasons. It's not enough to put in more drains, it always ends up finding a bottleneck further down the hill.
