More or less the same as yesterday:

Wild rocket and lettuce, with grilled whisky and oak smoked back bacon, hard-boiled egg, tomato, cucumber, yellow capsicum, with balsamic dressing and some honey and mustard dressing.

Again watermelon for dessert, and Gallo White Grenache rosé to drink.

Tomorrow is going to be just as hot, if not hotter - so it is quite likely it will be another salad for tea.

A pub lunch today at The Anchor in Danbury, Essex. (www.theanchordanbury.co.uk)

    King prawn salad and chips:

Dessert was profiteroles and cream (some of the best I have enjoyed, but sorry - no photo.), and a couple of pints of Old Speckled Hen.

Cheers, mate. We had a great time here (some lovely peaceful, scenic walks): https://www.google.com/search?q=lake...client=gws-wiz

    Staying here: https://www.lakevyrnwy.com/?sjrncid=...SAAEgK5UvD_BwE

As it says: "Lake Vyrnwy in Powys, Wales, is definitely worth visiting if you love peaceful nature, dramatic hills, and outdoor activities without the massive crowds found in places like the English Lake District." Here, here, as the busyness of the Lakes is one of the things that spoils it for us.

Food at the hotel was excellent, but not especially photogenic - I'm probably spoiled with how good Del's food looks, lol.
