30.4C indoors now, and it's only 31C outside. Might as well put the sofa out in the front garden, like they do on council estates. But humidity in here only 39%, so things could be worse.
I just dropped in, to see what condition my condition was in

They're building a little housing estate just round the corner from me, just started on the ground works last week - don't fancy doing that in this weather.

No, Steve, not sciatica. I had a spinal tumour removed a few years back, which was the size of a golf ball, and with it they had to remove part of the cartilage around my spine, which means I have a weakness there and reduced mobility, and unfortunately it's permanent.

    34°C now outside, 29.7°C indoors.

According to the thermostat it is 26.5C indoors and my phone says 33C outside.

26.5C seems to me to be high, but certainly feels much cooler than outside.

    33 outside here now.

If this carries on, I might consider taking my fleece off....

That's pretty warm for inside. Thought your house would be quite cool on days like this with the stone walls. Sure you haven't left the oven on?

I'm at 25.6 in here now. Forecast says it will start cooling down in an hour or so. It's almost at 33C outside.

Lol, no. The thermometer's in the kitchen, where the sun's blazing through. It's markedly cooler in the lounge with the curtains closed

Very common with these work-from-home folk, where the wider world only sees them from the waist up.

I think we're finally done with the hot weather now, set for a max of 23C today, then just the high teens for the foreseeable. I'm ok with that, got a full day of proper work today, not good when the heat's sapping your energy.
