I need to do BoC again…

In the meantime, is this really 30 years old? (Spoiler alert: yes, yes it is indeed 30 years old in July.)

Hooverphonic - A New Stereophonic Sound Spectacular (1996)

Debut trip-hop(ish) album from the Belgian band originally just called Hoover but added the phonic due to alleged pressure from the vacuum cleaner company. Great album from a really good band who have a habit of getting through lead singers like no tomorrow yet still manage to sound consistent.

Is this really 20 years old? (Stop, let’s not do that again! )

    Above & Beyond - Tri-State (2006)

Awesome debut from Trance legends and label owners.

Ah yeah, that was it - senior moment, they seem to happen a bit more frequently these days!

Two bands I’ve not heard in a long time - sounds interesting!

I’m on an Australian act, too.

Courtney Barnett - Creature of Habit (2026)

Played this a few times now and has really grown on me.

Death in Vegas - Dead Elvis (1997)

Cracking album, might have to play some more of theirs tomorrow.
