Been working through Rolling Stone “500 Greatest Songs of All Time” list (there’s a playlist on Tidal and Spotify - albeit the numbers don’t align correctly with the list below, presumably as some are not available to stream) the past few days.
Quite surprised how many I have never heard in my life, even a few artists I have never heard of!
It’s certainly a very interesting and educational exercise so far as well as a great eclectic playlist to have on whilst doing stuff. Currently about half way through.
As with any such list, no one is going to agree these are all a “greatest song of all time” but in the main it’s hard to argue the majority of them, even if you don’t personally like the tracks - YMMV!
