    Another new release today, and another very good album, if you like this sort of thing…

    Freya Ridings - Mother of Pearl (2026)




    I like her earlier albums, this is just as good, if not better. Very distinctive voice, if not dissimilar to Florence and the Machine’s Florence Welch, which again may be a good or bad thing depending on your taste!
