That 911 looks like the one my mate bought when he went from earning £8K a year to £70K a year almost overnight, except his was white.

He ended up trading it in for a 4wd scooby as it was just to unpredictable in the wet. He used to race 1200CC motorbikes so it wasn't like he was a wuss or anything.

    Apparently it's a "911 Spirit 70" limited edition of 1,500 - https://www.porsche.com/uk/models/91...911-spirit-70/ - yours from a measly £187,700.

The Morgan is a Supersport 400 - https://morgan-motor.com/models/supersport-400/ - priced from a much more reasonable £138,883.00. Although by the time you've configured the options, you probably won't be far off the 911 price!

The people who service my car do that sort of racing and rallying. They are very good at it, the office is full of trophies, cups and shields. There is always a 'souped up' car or two in the car park or inside the workshop.

I feel a bit lacking when I pedal my Audi in for a service and MOT, yet it receives just as much care as any other car they have there.

On the car park of the garage that services our car there's a Vauxhall Vectra on bricks.

A colleague at work drove a Porsche 911 Turbo (992 ?). He went track day racing with it, as well as driving around Europe during the holidays.

Right miserable day here, worst one in a while. Dull, cold, blowing a gale and that fine rain that soaks you through.

Not too bad here at the moment - sunny intervals and 13c, although rain expected later. Forecast looks very unsettled for the next 2 weeks, but it should at least warm up a bit next week.

Been working in Formby this last two days, been nice there, sunshine, but with a short shower today at dinnertime. Didn't see any famous folk though.
