Anyone keen on watches?

I tend to agree, I usually prefer a bracelet rather than a leather strap. This one came with a black leather strap, but I think it looks much better on a Milanese mesh.

I wasn't sure if there is any etiquette regarding watches for going shooting, so i decided a watch that's so slim and light that it's hardly a watch at all, when you just want to be able to tell the time.

Roy mentioned on another thread the Omega x Swatch “Moonswatch” so I’d better ‘fess up that I bought one in February after visiting the Science Museum and seeing the real deal…. I became a bit obsessed and after a couple of weeks decided I had to have one…



I bought it new from Swatch (too many fakes about to go secondhand) and was really excited, until it arrived! It looks lovely in the pictures, but in reality the “Bioceramic” case just feels like plastic, and whilst the strap is a nod to the moon watch, I felt it looked tacky, so I swapped it out to…. A black leather strap, of course!



It looks better on the plain strap in my opinion, but I’ve still never worn it! Maybe I will tomorrow…

I'm not a watch person myself, however I do have my fathers RAF flying watch which is an Omega (he was a pilot). It just about runs, but to my knowledge has never been serviced. I don't wear it but I would like to.

Can you guys recommend where I might get this serviced?

This isn't the actual watch, but it's the same model. It's from the 50s I believe.
