When I was a teenager (1980s) I almost exclusively listened to and bought music from the '60s and '70s. This album was just one that passed me by. At the time I had little interest in the '80s music.I think if you had been 10 years younger Martin, it might have been a bit more significant.

I think Made In Japan is the only Deep Purple album I have on vinyl... Probably came in one of the small collections I've acquired from people over the years, as I don't remember knowingly seeking it out to purchase. I have played it a few times, but don't know it very well - giving it a spin on Tidal now, but one of those albums that needs a bit of welly behind it - maybe not on a school night.
