Certainly worth a try you seem to have quite a bit of space to be able to move them about.
Fyne - I had a listen to the flagship 'Vintage 15' at a show, with the optional supertweeters. They grew on me a bit after a shakey start, but IMO what I have now does what they do a lot better at less than a quarter of the money. Do work in smaller room though just like big Tannoys do.
