I believe that current releases of Country Life now have a less 'problematic' artwork for the cover. There are several parodies of the cover, such as this:

Currently spinning a lovely UK original Rush 'Hemispheres'. Side 1 is OK but side 2 is incredible.

My partner can speak fluent French, yet she doesn't like Edith Piaf. Probably it's her singing voice with its exaggerated rolling of the "R"s, as much as the subject matter she dislikes. But hey-ho, we're all different, thank goodness.
