The only Tom Waits album I own, bought on a friend's recommendation. I really wanted to like Tom Waits, but two tracks in I realised it wasn't going to happen

I came to Tom Waits very late, having heard bits and pieces and not getting on with it. It changed for me when I heard Blue Valentine. More accessible, with a back story / theme to it. I bought it, played it a few times and began to "get" Tom Waits. I moved on to Rain Dogs and after that, I'd say I've liked 80% of the Albums I've heard of his.
