Not actually badged "JPS" but they did do a commemorative 100 run of the Esprit in JPS colours.

Only trouble with that is no-one can drive round in a car that says 'World Champion' on the side.

I seem to remember one of the Top Gear blokes driving in America's Deep South with 'Man Love' painted on the side. That would be worse.

I saw on tinternet this afternoon a JPS Esprit for sale at 80,000 euros. I'm sure the buyer could negotiate a grand off the price, enough to change the graphics to say 'More money than sense'.

Well one person could. In fact if racing is like darts or boxing about 10 people could.

If you actually were a world champion that would make it even worse.

There should also be an arrow above the wording, pointing up at the driver's window, so there could be no doubt.

Of course there's better cars than the Capri but that's missing the point.
    Yes. Esprit S2.
They also produces some nice black and gold cars, without the JPS stickers.

The trouble with that is if you drive round in it people will assume you're a drug dealer or a nightclub owner - or both. It's too flash. I'd still take the JPS Capri over it.
