I was vaguely aware of Olivia Dean but her performances on Jools led me to listen to this, her new and second album. Hard to give it a genre, poppy R&B, maybe? Well on first listen this is another cracking album that will be on regular rotation, and I will be checking out her earlier music.

Another one bought, loved and then forgotten about! Trevor Horn on production duties, so clean as a whistle, and I remember this album for its lengthy and interesting introductions - back to a time when every pop song didn’t have to jump straight in with a catchy chorus to avoid being skipped…

Yeh was bidding on a copy of that on Ebay but forgot I turned off Ebay noticifcations on my phone cos they're so annoying, and missed close of auction.This one, definitely.
