Seeing the new Spinal Tap film the other day put me in the mood for this:

    Current Lash Up:

    TEAC VRDS 701T > Sony TAE1000ESD > Krell KSA50S > Troels Gravesen Faital 3WC-15.

An excellent collection. I played it the other day.

I fell asleep halfway through the Spinal Tap film…. Will have to watch it again.

However, and this is a total coincidence (or is it?) but that begins “Sp” as well!

Next artist in the list is Spanky Wilson and the Quantic Soul Orchestra - I’m Thankful, from 2006 but sounds more like 1956.

After Spanky you’re right with The Specials. Don’t have any albums of the rest, though, but still 4 more artists to go…

You could always try 'Celebration' by Spooky Tooth with Pierre Henry.

But only if you like musique concrète.

Sounds intriguing! I shall have to see if Tidal can oblige after this classic.

I have a CD that's a 'best of' (not the same one as yours), and mine doesn't have "Ghost Town" on it either. What's that all about?

There is quite a variety amongst the “Sp” section - next up and probably the last for today, is this from 2008, which I hardly remembered at all!
