I have quite a bit of Zappa's output, and as you know, Zappa went through various musical tropes throughout his career. 'Chunga's Revenge' is broadly similar to
'Hot Rats' (a record which, IMHO, ought to be in everyone's collection) and 'Waka Jawaka'.

I did used to have Freak Out, Absolutely Free and We're only in it for the Money (which were all Zappa/Mothers iirc) and liked them all. But that was the early 70s and I've not heard them since then. I'm not sure what I'd make of them these days, though I'm tempted to give them a go. So little time, so much Zappa
