    The Ventura… nice.
not sure about the open mech one Roy, feel the shapes enough to make it stand out?
    Crackin’ piece though.

Like this black one, would be the one I’d get. The XXL, chunky boy!
Contrast between matt and polished black, along with the shape really gives me the fizz.

On the subject of Elvis watches, how about this one?

    https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/5968...%253A596817775

It's a little-known fact that Elvis was an incredibly talented engraver in his spare time. No wonder he couldn't find time for a UK tour.
I just dropped in, to see what condition my condition was in

T/T: Inspire Monarch, X200 tonearm, Ortofon Quintet Blue. Phono: Project Tube Box CD: Marantz CD6006 (UK Edition); Amp: Musical Fidelity A5 Integrated.
Speakers: Zu Omen Def, REL T9i subwoofer. Cables: Atlas Equator interconnects, Atlas Hyper 3.0 speaker cables

    T'other system:
Echo Dot, Arcam A75 integrated, Monitor Audio R852 MD speakers
    A/V:
LG 55" OLED, Panasonic Blu Ray, Sony a/v amp, MA Radius speakers, REL T9i sub.

And it's only thirty quid! Probably he needed a sideline where Colonel Tom wasn't able to dip his beak. Did the engraving during all that time he spent on the toilet.
    Current Lash Up:

    TEAC VRDS 701T > Sony TAE1000ESD > Krell KSA50S > Troels Gravesen Faital 3WC-15.

"Bloody hell Aaron, what you doing in there, engraving yer will?"

The ones he dropped down the toilet fetch big money these days.

Cos it ain't worth a bean mate, who would know it was a Rolex anyway? Looks like every other small vintage gold watch.

They're after the GMTs, Daytonas and Subs of this world not your museum piece.

Looks like a watch Darth Vader would wear.

Ah, so you like a 'showy' watch. Is it to impress people?

How do people know it's a Rolex? - because they see the Rolex 'crown' on the dial, and on the bracelet clasp.

As to its worth, well I have had it valued, but that's something between me and my insurance company. But then it's not all about money; there are unquantifiable aspects to any possession or gift.

Now then, can anyone identify the unquantifiabe aspects to this possession?
