Looking good what are they, I presume you’ve already said, I missed it?
Listening is the act of aural discrimination and dissemination of sound, and accepting you get it wrong sometimes.

Proper bracing there mate, cabs should be solid as a rock.

On some nights I still believe that a car with the gas needle on empty can run about fifty more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio”

Yes, the construction is 'no compromise.'

I calculate max SPL at about 118dB at 1 metre. Could use them as a P.A.

In reality I never listen at high levels but do like a speaker that is only cruising at the levels I like, you get that sense of effortlessness.

    That is the key.

Problem is they do have a really hard act to follow with the speakers I have already. I've really got the whole thing just how I want it right now, so I'm just a bit concerned that this won't work out. But nothing ventured, nothing gained.

It is. Same idea in many OB's- run a large high efficiency driver(s) so it's barely ticking over most of the time. Colin did the same with the Edingdales, except running several smaller drivers to mimic a larger, but same idea, run them very easy so they operate in their most linear region. Makes the difference.

    All done and working:

The speakers next to them are also a Troels Gravesen design. They have active bass drivers. For sale at £8K if anyone's interested.
