I can’t imagine this one from 2002 being a favourite of many/any others on here, but a cracking album if you like a bit of EDM…

Yes I wouldn't call it a favourite, but a good 'un nonetheless. Especially "Ready Steady Go". I used to have the "Korean Edit" of this track on my iPod (that's going back a few years), which featured in the nightclub scene in the Michael Mann film "Collateral".

I have another of his ("A Lively Mind") which I don't think is as good, but it does kick off with "Faster Kill Pussycat" featuring Brittany Murphy, so there's that.
I just dropped in, to see what condition my condition was in

Funnily enough, I thought if anyone would know this album it would be you, Steve! And yes, A Lively Mind is another good one, and agree not quite as good - the Brittany Murphy track being the standout but bitter sweet because of what ensued.

Bunkka has a particularly fond place in my heart as it was a favourite and played regularly when I was in Chamonix with a couple of mates doing my paragliding license in 2002, but that’s another story.

EDM formed a big chunk of my music tastes in the early/mid 90s, starting out with William Orbit, The Orb and Orbital, which helpfully were all bunched together on my alphabetically-sorted shelves. Just as well as I could lose CDs for fun back then

I always found that section of my collection was obscured by little fluffy clouds, not so much now that they are all FLAC on hard drives.

Now moved on to Tiesto and In Search of Sunrise. Which would be fine if we were in the summer when it wouldn’t be very long before the sun comes up but at this time of the year I’ll be still sat listening when it’s time to get up!
