Nice set up, but I couldn't put up with all those unsightly wires. Not that I would have a TV in the bedroom: we use
a bedroom for two things only, and watching TV is not one of them.

Anita would like a larger telly, but when I asked her what we would do with the current perfectly functioning TV, she suggested sticking it in the bedroom. Not while I've a breath in my body! I want the bedroom to be as tech-free as possible, though I do compromise a bit: My phone goes in there with me but only for the alarm clock function. There is an unplugged and never used Amazon Echo, and Anita's phone which is there for emergencies.

The bedroom is not entirely free of electronics. There is an alarm clock, a Roberts FM radio, and we often charge our smartphones overnight there as well.

You could save money and set a daily alarm on your phone to remind you when to check the time on the clock. As long as you don't want to know what the time is at any other time of the day. A bonus is you can do it twice a day.
Actually if you do want to know the time when it's not 2.20 you could always move the hands to the time when you know you'll want to check it.
