Hi Macca. Just looking back in to see you're ready to get these monsters I wonder how they'd do on a Klippel test system - and don't you DARE to tell me you don't care a toss about it

Hope they go well for you

Just as I'm about to move almost fully backwards from 2007 to 1974 assuming the speaker refurb goes well
I can't go on and I can't go back, I don't feel so matter of fact,
I tried and tried to make good sense, What's the good to try it all again?

Smoke me a Klippel, I'll be back for breakfast.

Here's the Klippel for what I was going to get, until I thought the TG speakers might be more fun:

1974 was a good year. Spendor?

I'm advised that construction on new speakers is starting this week coming, looking at end of November now.

Previous order, which is a smaller version (6 inch mid and 12 inch bass) of what I'm having, took longer than expected.

Took the opportunity to improve the spec a bit. Fancier binding posts - so they look the part, I'm not much for the idea that these things matter for sound quality - and they will be rebated into the cab, not sticking out proud. Just to avoid damaging them if moving the speakers about.

I was only thinking this morning to ask you how the new speakers were progressing.

So good news all round; decent binding posts will allow a good, tight connection to be achieved.
