First time I've seen them even though been into them for 40 years, didn't think I ever would.

Mostly they played all the crowd pleasers from 'Eliminator', but we did get 'Just Got Paid', 'Brown Sugar', 'Nationwide' and 'Certified Blues.'

    Anyway, it was really good.
I would have loved to have seen them, but didn't even know they were playing. It always amused me to learn that the drummer's name was Beard, yet he was the only one of the three who didn't have a beard.

Coincidentally, the last time I attended Wembley Arena was to see Frank Zappa on tour. Both performers have names starting with "Z".

First time I have been to Wembley Arena. It's a bit too far away for me but it was their only UK gig on this tour.

Had lunch in 'The Bell' in Fleet Street. Not been in there in almost 20 years, it hasn't changed at all, surprisingly.

Those middle strings must be difficult to fret.

Chantel McGregor played The Stables, Milton Keynes a few months back.
It's pretty local to me, and I've seen her a few times there and locally. Always up for a good Blues/Rock night out, and has some great acts with her.
She also backed up Elles Bailey last year: same venue.
It's a great venue and easy access for M1.. Worth a look at the future artists playing there.

She had the Cinelli brothers with her too:

    Fantastic, and good showmen.

Sounds interesting - what recordings of hers would you recommend?

    Thanks
