Pretty sunny here, looks great from indoors. But I've just been out in the garden, I lasted about ten minutes. Chilly wind.

This non-summer is getting me down, so in a couple of weeks we're bogging off to South of France. Driving, because I can't be doing with airports and planes. Anyway, I want to visit "Les Loups du Gevaudan", which we've passed several times but never got round to visiting.

Just have to organise getting Alice into the cattery as I don't think she'd get along with French folk. She already doesn't like Brits and that's without the funny accents.
I just dropped in, to see what condition my condition was in

Forget the past, it's gone. And don't worry about the future, it doesn't exist. There is only NOW.

Actually not a bad day, got up to 20c and only one really heavy downpour -10 minutes into the dog walk, but luckily we were in the farmer’s yard, and managed to shelter in their hay barn.

Very pleasant so far, sunny intervals and 17c, could get to 21c later, and no rain predicted until tomorrow afternoon. No rain forecast after that for the rest of the month with temperatures to hit the low 20s. Maybe summer is finally coming?

Same here: 20C, blue sky with a few fluffy white clouds and sunshine.

Cut the grass, tidied up the garden, then escaped indoors for some well-earned coolth!

sounds okay in the south but up here we've had some of that fine rain that soaks you through, and a few half hearted sunny spells.

Plenty of strength in the sun when it does break through but you only get about a minute then its back in again. Not been over 12C all day.

Looking at Thursday before it picks up.

Whereabouts in the West of Scotland are you Robin? I know Dumfries and Galloway is known as the "Scottish Riviera", though I thought it was just further north (Plockton, Kyle of Lochalsh etc.) that was affected by the Gulf Stream.
